Before booking an appointment, please take a moment to read over our terms and conditions.
Upon booking you will be asked if you have seen and agree to them.
1. All horses and dogs must have veterinary surgeon consent/referral before attending an appointment, as per the Veterinary Surgeon’s Act 1966.
2. Appointment fees are requested in advance, via our secure payment facility on our website. If this is not possible, payment is required during the appointment, either in cash or by card.
3. If Perfect Gait Veterinary Physiotherapy needs to cancel or rearrange you appointment, full refunds will be given or alternative dates provided.
4. If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please give us as much notice as possible. Cancellations made less than 48 prior to the appointment will be charged £30 cancellation fee.
5. If you are unable to make an appointment but fail to notify us and we travel to your house or yard, the full appointment fee will still be charged.
6. In preparation for their appointment, both horses and dogs need to be clean and dry. This is necessary to enable accurate assessments to be made and in case any electrotherapy is to be applied.
7. Appointments timings are approximately 1.5 hours long. Treatments during each session will be prioritised appropriately. If there are multiple areas to treat, it may be that some need to be followed up at a later appointment.
8. While we always endeavour to arrive at our prearranged time, there are some elements, such as animal compliance or traffic, which are out of control. If we are going to be more than 10 minutes late, we will call or text in advance.
9. Perfect Gait Veterinary Physiotherapy will not carry out assessments or treatments which are judged to be unsafe for animal, handler or veterinary physiotherapist. Please inform us if there are any specific areas etc. which your animal is defensive about so that we are able to adapt assessments and treatment appropriately.
10. Perfect Gait Veterinary Physiotherapy shares some information and pictures about the animals they treat/treatments on social media or on their website blog page. During your initial booking and information gathering conversation, you will be asked whether you are happy for images/details of your animal to be shared. Please let us know if you are happy for your animal to be included in these posts.
11. Perfect Gait Veterinary Physiotherapy aims to provide a high quality service to our clients. If there is anything which you are not happy with, please let us know.
